أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ

✦The Prophetic Supplication After Purification
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that upon completing Wudu, one should affirm Tawhid: 'Ash-hadu alla ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lahu, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa rasuluh' (Sahih Muslim 234). Jami' at-Tirmidhi (55) adds the beautiful plea: 'Allahummaj'alni minat-tawwabina waj'alni minal-mutatahhirin' ('O Allah, make me among those who repent and make me among those who purify themselves').
